Terms of Service

Decoding Wealth is a personal-development application built around the FRESH Method (Financial, Relationship, Emotional, Spiritual, Health). It provides educational content, goal and habit tracking, journaling, analytics, and AI-powered coaching companions. The Service shares lived experience and educational material — it does not provide professional advice of any kind. See Section 6 and our Disclaimer.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for all activity under your account. Keep your login credentials secure and notify us at de@dedirectly.com of any unauthorized use.

The Service offers a Free tier and paid subscriptions (“Starter” and “Pro”).

Pricing. Current pricing is displayed on the Upgrade page at time of purchase. As of the effective date: Starter at $9.99/month or $93.48/year; Pro at $19.00/month or $148.20/year. Prices may change; we will provide notice before changes affect an active subscription.

Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details. Your use of Stripe’s services is subject to Stripe’s own terms.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) until canceled.

Cancellation. You may cancel anytime through your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain paid access through the end of the current billing period.

Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at de@dedirectly.com and we will review it.

Downgrades. If a subscription lapses or is downgraded, features revert to the applicable tier and some content or analytics may become inaccessible. Your data is not deleted by a downgrade.

The Service includes AI-powered coaching companions. These are automated software features, not human beings and not licensed professionals. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific situation. You are responsible for evaluating any AI-generated content before acting on it. Do not rely on AI coaches for financial, investment, tax, legal, medical, or mental-health decisions.

All content in the Service — including lessons, audio, articles, prompts, and AI coach responses — is provided for educational and informational purposes only and reflects lived experience, not professional training. Dedirectly and De Echols are not licensed financial advisors, broker-dealers, accountants, attorneys, physicians, therapists, or counselors. Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, tax, legal, medical, or mental-health advice. Always consult a qualified, licensed professional before making decisions in these areas. If you are experiencing a mental-health crisis, contact a licensed professional or your local emergency services immediately.

You retain ownership of the content you create in the Service (journal entries, goals, tracking data, messages). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal content. Aggregated, de-identified data may be used to improve the Service.

You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful purposes; attempt to access other users’ data or accounts; reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Service or its content for redistribution; abuse, overload, or interfere with the Service; or use the Service to generate or distribute harmful, infringing, or deceptive content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

The Service, including the Decoding Wealth name, the FRESH Method framework, lessons, audio, designs, and software, is owned by Dedirectly LLC or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use. No other rights are granted.

The Service relies on third-party providers (including Stripe for payments and Google Analytics for usage measurement) and may link to external sites and platforms. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT (INCLUDING AI-GENERATED CONTENT) IS ACCURATE OR RELIABLE. YOUR RESULTS DEPEND ON YOUR OWN CIRCUMSTANCES AND EFFORT; WE MAKE NO GUARANTEE OF FINANCIAL OR OTHER OUTCOMES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEDIRECTLY LLC AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100) IF YOU HAVE PAID NOTHING.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, with notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, and 15) survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the Service or by email, and the effective date above will be updated. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state where Dedirectly LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that state.
